So here us a little about us…
Picture this…Pregnant with my second baby, in the process of juggling a long distance move and new beginnings with a toddler under two to keep entertained and lots of new life changes. My partner starting a new job far away with longer hours and leaving my bestfriends and my mummy friends behind, I started to feel isolated and alone… After some thought and many discussions over coffee I decided I wanted to create something for myself but also for other mums like me and create a community with similar passions and thoughts…a social way to relate over coffee!
I love the taste of a good coffee, those little moments to yourself or to share with others and the journey it takes you on, but it has to be sourced correctly and prepared properly. There is so much more that goes in to speciality coffee than most realise.. from the growth of the cherry that hold the beans, how they are harvested and roasted to it finally being poured in to your cup. If you select the right coffee with the right recipe, you’ll never go back to drinking instant or commercial high street coffee.
My love of coffee has grown over the years and was initially stemmed from my partner who is well and truly a caffeinated Dad, He has been in the coffee industry for a long time with lots of experience ranging from training, to roasting and everything in between, he is my coffee guru and has taught me all I know and shown me the way… those that roast together, drink coffee together… stay together!! :D
Coffee is certainly at our heart…We have a small coffee shop called Espresso-Head in my partners home town of Leighton buzzard in Bedfordshire, and a small batch speciality coffee roastery named Full Bloom Coffee Roasters, and now my newest project and passion: Caffeinated Mums Club.
We are based in The New Forest, with our two children, who will no doubt be pouring coffee by the age of 5 ha ha… and we love nothing more than venturing out and finding lovely places to drink coffee.
Caffeinated Mums Club is here for those Mamas who have a love for coffee, are part of the ever growing social group of caffeinated mums and to share the true reasons why we need each other and coffee to get us through the hard days.
